Candied ginger and berries, tar, pepper, plum and oak spice nose.  Complex and layered, this Syrah features unsweetened plum and orange fruit with hints of mineral, tar and bittersweet chocolate in the mouth.  A quote from a Washington wine publication:

“ . . . Griffin (Rob Griffin, winemaker) has gained a cult following of sorts, especially for his Syrah . . . he is generally considered among the country’s finest Syrah producers, regularly wining top awards at the best competitions.”
