The 2007 growing season was typical of recent vintages.A warm early spring was followed by an average temperately warm summer.The virtues of the dry, warm summer climate of the ColumbiaValley coupled with mild September temperatures made for good acid retention and complete flavor development in both early and late season varieties.The autumn was long and mildly warm without danger of premature freeze damage and ended on schedule with very ripe flavorful grapes.
